Overview

Reporting to the Production Manager, this position is primarily responsible for all shipping and receiving activities at CPI. Additional duties include stock room support, occasional deliveries/material pick-up, and production support. You’ll become fast friends with customer service! You’ll work with various departments, including production control, stock room, and purchasing. Accuracy and attention to detail a must! This position may lead to a support role in our Production Control Department for the right candidate. Room to learn and grow in a friendly, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Shipping/receiving – preparation of shipping documentation, use of UPS/FedX portal
  • Package material and product to customer or company specified requirements or commercially accepted practices, for shipment
  • Accurately receive, verify, and stock incoming materials
  • Responsible for the storage and disposal of recyclable materials.
  • Responsible for periodic inventory cycle counts and count verification of raw material.
  • Support stock room, interface with production control, customer service, use ERP system
  • Periodic driving responsibilities (company van)
